Meet Your Anxiety and Attachment Therapist in Lakewood, Colorado

You're not broken.

You’re responding from years of learned patterns around safety, connection, and survival.

Those patterns were once protective, but now they may be the very things holding you back.

If you’re here,

something inside you is tired

of holding everything together

on your own.

Maybe you’ve spent years being the strong one, the calm one, the one who adapts,

even when your inner world feels messy, overwhelmed, or shut down.

You may notice things like:

• emotional waves that feel intense or unpredictable

• shutting down, then suddenly feeling overwhelmed

• never fully relaxing, even when things are “fine”

• carrying tension in your body or mind

• struggling to name your needs or speak them out loud

• repeating relationship patterns you don’t fully understand

If you’ve spent years being the steady one, the helper, or the one who holds everything together, you may carry a different kind of heaviness. Over time, that weight can turn into anxiety, exhaustion, or a sense of disconnection from yourself and your relationships.

None of this means you’re failing.

It means you’ve been surviving the only way you knew how.

And it doesn’t have to stay that way.

This is where I come in..

I’m Stacey, and I work with people who are tired of feeling anxious, on edge, or disconnected from themselves — even when life looks fine on the outside.

Much of my work centers around anxiety, attachment patterns, and the nervous system. Together, we explore the ways your body and mind learned to cope, and gently shift what no longer serves you.

My approach is warm and collaborative. I don’t believe you need to be fixed or pushed.

I believe you need space to understand yourself, feel safe in your body, and move forward at a pace that actually works for you.

Our work moves slowly, intentionally, and with care — always guided by what feels supportive and possible in each moment.

Who I Support

I work with adults who are:

• living with anxiety — whether it feels loud and overwhelming or quiet and constant

• feeling emotionally overloaded or disconnected from themselves

• tired of operating in survival mode

• noticing the same patterns repeating in relationships

• struggling with attachment, boundaries, or emotional closeness

• longing to feel steadier, more grounded, and more like themselves

If any of this feels familiar, know this:
there is nothing wrong with you.
Your system has simply been doing its best to protect you.

A little about me as a human

Outside of my work, movement and humor are a big part of how I stay grounded. You’ll often find me playing volleyball, walking Wash Park, or laughing with my kids and our dog, Rumi (named after my favorite poet and our unofficial therapy dog). I believe healing doesn’t just happen in conversation — it also happens through movement, fresh air, connection, and moments that remind us we’re alive and human. Those same principles shape how I work with clients: gently, holistically, and with room for both depth and lightness.

And because it matters

I’ve experienced anxiety and panic attacks since I was four years old, and I share that because I want my clients to know I truly understand what this can feel like. The space I hold is one where you’re met without judgment — a place where you don’t have to hide or hold it all together.

I believe that when we model vulnerability and radical self-acceptance, it gives others permission to see their own shadows with compassion. Those parts aren’t flaws.  They’re pieces of you that deserve understanding and integration, and that’s where real healing begins.

At the heart of my work is connection, compassion, and creating space for people to feel safe being fully themselves.
